Zeb Sutherland has been providing professional alterations in Saratoga Springs for more than 16 years. Besides being a contented wife and mother, she has devoted 17 years to the fields of retail fashion and beauty advisor with Christian Dior and Estee Lauder. Through it all, Zeb has been passionate about sewing, and sitting behind the machine, for more than 25 years.



ALTERATIONS:

Arranging For Gown and Bridesmaid Dress Alteration
Zeb is available for alteration appointments on Thursdays and Saturdays at Rockabella Boutique which is located at 10 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs (1/2 block from Broadway, across from the police station).

Gown and Dress fitting appointments must be scheduled in advance. 
To ensure a successful gown alteration, schedule a fitting appointment a minimum of 5 weeks prior to wear date. The sooner the better! Keep in mind, the months of March, April, and May are a very busy time for prom alterations.

  • When you come for your fitting appointment, bring your undergarments and the shoes that you will be wearing with your gown. This is a must for proper gown length and fit!
  • When your alterations are complete, you will be contacted by phone or email. 
  • Gown pick up then must be within 10 days but no later than 4 days prior to wear date. This allows time to check the fit and to make any adjustments if necessary. 
  • Zeb is at Rockabella Boutique for gown pick-up on Thursdays noon till 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays noon till 4:00 p.m. 
  • Payment is accepted by cash or check only.

Arranging For Other Alterations

Zeb is available for walk-in alteration fittings at Rockabella Boutique which is located at 10 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs (1/2 block from Broadway, across from the police station) at the following times:

  • Thursdays - 12 noon till 3:30 PM
  • Saturdays - 12 noon till 3:00 PM

While you may call for a specific time if you prefer, it's not necessary. Just bring in your garment(s), get a fitting, and your customized order will be ready in about a week.

 


Tips For Accurate Fitting

  • Stand tall.
  • Bring your shoes! Heel height makes a difference for the proper length on pants and gowns.
  • Undergarments are important, especially with Bridesmaid, Evening, and Prom gowns. It's amazing how undergarments can change your shape.
  • And don't forget to smile!
